परमेश्वरले चाहनुभएको मानिस
दाऊदको भजन
1 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको पवित्रस्थानमा कसले वास गर्न पाउनेछ? तपाईंको पवित्र पर्वतमा को बस्न पाउनेछ?
2 त्यो मानिस, जसको चाल निर्दोष छ,
र जसले ठीक-ठीक काम गर्छ,
र हृदयबाट सत्य बोल्छ,
3 जसले आफ्नो जिब्रोले अरूको निन्दा गर्दैन, जसले आफ्नो छिमेकीको बिगार गर्दैन,
र आफ्नो साथी-भाइको अपवाद फैलाउँदैन,
4 जसले भ्रष्ट मानिसलाई घृणा गर्दछ, तर परमप्रभुको भय मान्नेहरूलाई आदर गर्दछ, जसले आफ्नो हानि हुँदा पनि आफूले प्रतिज्ञा गरेको कुरा बद्लँदैन,
5 जसले आफ्नो रुपियाँ व्याजमा लाउँदैन,
र निर्दोषको विरुद्धमा घूस लिँदैन। यस्ता काम गर्ने कहिल्यै पनि डग्नेछैन।

The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord
A Psalm of David.
1 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
2 He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.
