राजाको निम्ति प्रार्थना
सङ्गीत-निर्देशकको निम्ति दाऊदको भजन
1 सङ्कष्टको दिनमा परमप्रभुले तपाईंलाई उत्तर देऊन्, याकूबका परमेश्वरको नाउँले तपाईंलाई सुरक्षा देऊन्।
2 उहाँले पवित्रस्थानबाट तपाईंलाई सहायता पठाऊन्,
र सियोनबाट तपाईंलाई सहारा देऊन्।
3 उहाँले तपाईंका सबै बलिदानहरूको सम्झना राखून्,
र तपाईंका होमबलि ग्रहण गरून्। सेला
4 उहाँले तपाईंको मनोरथ पूरा गरून्,
र तपाईंका सबै योजनाहरू सफल गराऊन्।
5 तपाईंको विजयमा हामी आनन्दले जयजयकार गर्नेछौं,
र हाम्रा परमेश्वरको नाउँमा हामी आफ्ना झन्डा उच्च पार्नेछौं। परमप्रभुले तपाईंका सबै बिन्ती पूरा गरिदेऊन्।
6 अब
मलाई थाहा भयो, कि परमप्रभुले आफ्ना अभिषिक्तलाई सहायता गर्नुहुन्छ।
उहाँले आफ्नो दाहिने बाहुलीको उद्धार गर्ने शक्तिद्वारा आफ्नो पवित्र
स्वर्गबाट उनलाई उत्तर दिनुहुनेछ।
7 कोही रथहरूमा र कोही घोडाहरूमाथि भरोसा गर्छन्, तर हामी त परमप्रभु, हाम्रा परमेश्वरकै नाउँमा भरोसा गर्छौं।
8 तिनीहरू रन्थनिएर जमिनमा लोट्नेछन्, तर हामीहरू त खड़ा हुनेछौं र सोझा उभिनेछौं।
9 हे परमप्रभु, राजालाई विजय प्रदान गर्नुहोस्। हामीले पुकार्दा हामीलाई उत्तर दिनुहोस्।

The Assurance of God’s Saving Work
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
2 May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion;
3 May He remember all your offerings,
And accept your burnt sacrifice.
Selah
4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose.
5 We will rejoice in your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call.
